Garin Jenkins gave Wales an injury scare ahead of the Lloyds TSB Six Nations
Championship after he limped out of the Welsh trial at Swansea on Saturday night.

The Swansea hooker picked up a knock to his right ankle and was replaced in
the Probables team by Andrew Lewis after 35 minutes.

It was another worry for Wales coach Graham Henry as he pondered his side for the Six Nations opener against France at the Millennium
Stadium in Cardiff next Saturday.

The Welsh are already without Craig Quinnell who pulled out of the trial
on Friday with a hamstring problem that also put paid to his chances of playing
against France.

With Quinnell out, Pontypridd's Ian Gough and Cardiff's Steve Moore played
half a game each to fight for the number four jersey. The left wing was also up for grabs and Dafydd James fought it out with speed merchant Shane Williams.

With Scott Gibbs another injury victim, Henry had various options at centre
but Jason Jones-Hughes and Mark Taylor look favourites to start against the
French.

The Probables got something of a wake-up call when the Possibles scored within
the first minute through wing Nick Walne.

But Taylor redressed the balance when he was sent over after a neat link
between Neil Jenkins and Jones-Hughes.

The strength of the Probables scrum told as they were awarded a penalty try,
before James gave his coach a nudge breaking free down the left wing to score the Possibles' second try.

But for the rest of the half the Probables showed their teeth with a second try for Taylor and two scores for full-back Shane Howarth.

The Probables led 35-14 at half-time but the scoreline was largely irrelevant
and there were 18 changes at the interval.

And it was the Possibles who settled better after the turn-round, scoring four unanswered tries through Richard Smith, Neil Boobyer, Andrew Gibbs and Gareth Wyatt.

In the earlier development match, the Reds beat the Greens 34-28.
