The Barbarians have announced a star-studded squad for their visit to Hanover next month.

The invitation side will play in the EXPO 2000 city against the National side in a bid to increase the profile of the game in the country.

The side will include Munster and Ireland half backs Peter Stringer and Ronan O'Gara, former Irish captain Dion O'Cuinneagain, Welsh test winger Matthew Robinson, Bath's Welsh flanker Nathan Thomas and Springbok prop Adrian Garvey, who is now at Newport.
