Swansea hit by injuries
January 4, 2002

Swansea, who have amountain to climb if they are to progress in this season's Heineken Cup, have suffered a double injury setback ahead of their clash with Bath.

The All Whites, who must win and score five tries more than Bath to have any chance of finishing above them in pool three, will be without international forwards Andy Moore and Colin Charvis.

Both players are sidelined by neck injuries, adding to a lengthy injury list which also includes hookers Garin Jenkins and Chris Wells, together with Lions centre Mark Taylor.

James Griffiths is drafted into the second row instead of Moore, while Geraint Lewis returns to a rejigged back row as Swansea seek revenge on a Bath side who crushed them 38-9 three months ago.

Bath, who have fit-again forwards Dan Lyle and Mark Regan on the bench, need one point from their two remaining games against Swansea and Biarritz to progress as group winners.
