England, Ireland and Wales set for Wallaby RWC warm-ups
June 18, 2002

England, Ireland and Wales are set to play the Wallabies next summer as part of their build-up to the Rugby World Cup that kicks off in Australia in October 2003.

"It appears at this stage it is going to be England, Ireland and Wales for one test each," Australian Rugby Union (ARU) spokesman Strath Gordon told Reuters on Tuesday.

"It's such an important year from a planning perspective. It would be in the June-July time frame."

The three tests are likely to be played in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
