Cardiff Blues have been able to welcome back three players from Warren Gatland's Wales squad for the Magners League tie with Glasgow at the Arms Park on Friday. Bradley Davies, John Yapp and Robin Sowden Taylor all start for Dai Young's side against a Glasgow team looking to do the double over Cardiff.

Yapp packs down in the front-row alongside Gareth Williams and Taufa'ao Filise while Davies partners skipper Paul Tito in the second-row. Sowden Taylor starts on the openside with Maama Molitika and Xavier Rush completing the back-row.

Ceri Sweeney gets a start at fly-half, with Jason Spice in at scrum-half.

"I have a huge amount of respect for the way our opponents play the game - they gave us a good hiding up there and deserved the win," said Young. "A few eyebrows were raised with that result but they've shown with the win out in Toulouse and the performances against Bath, what a quality side they are.

"Having said that, I think we will have enough quality on the pitch to win the game and I always expect us to win our home games."

Glasgow welcome back scrum-half Mark McMillan from injury, and the former Wasps and Leeds player is eager to spur his side on to Magners League glory this season.

He slots in alongside Dan Parks at half-back, with Ruaridh Jackson taking the inside-centre berth alongside Jose Maria Nunez Piossek. Alastair Kellock leads the side from the second-row alongside Dan Turner while Kelly Brown slots in to the back-row after his release from the Scotland squad.

"If we are to challenge for the league now or in the future, we have to be able to beat teams like Cardiff who have proven to be tough opposition at the Arms Park," said McMillan. "A win over Cardiff will help us toward realising that goal. It's really exciting times at Glasgow right now."
