World record holder Usain Bolt has confirmed he will race in Switzerland in the aftermath of London 2012.

The triple Olympic gold medallist kicked off his season on home soil last week, storming to a world-leading time of 9.82 seconds over 100m in winning the Jamaican International Invitational.

Bolt is scheduled to return to action in Ostrava later this month before racing in the Diamond League meetings in Rome on May 31 and Oslo on June 7. He will put the finishing touches on his Olympic preparations at Monaco on July 30 before heading to London for the defence of his titles.

Now Bolt has confirmed he will race at the Zurich Diamond League meeting on August 30.

"Zurich is often called the one-day Olympics and I expect this year to be a very special meeting 18 days after the London Games," Bolt said.
