Ennis rules out jungle to focus on titles

World and European heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis has set herself the challenge of winning "every major title" before she retires and the face of the London 2012 Olympics is so focused on achieving her goals, she has ruled out appearing on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
Ennis, 24, will attempt to win the European Indoors in Paris in March - one of the few championships she has yet to conquer - but, while the track and field events hold no fear, the Brit admits she is frightened of spiders and, as a consequence, will not be taking up any invites to head to the jungle.
"I'll never go on 'I'm a Celebrity'," she said in the Mirror. "Never, never, never. Linford [Christie] has been doing great and it's been so funny to watch, but I'd never go in the jungle because I'm petrified of spiders and insects."
Less than two years away from the Olympic Games, the Sheffield star is one of Britain's main hopes heading into London and Ennis admits there is pressure to succeed.
"I would love to win every major title before I retire but it is hard," she said. "You win a couple of things and everyone expects you to win everything you do."
Ennis, who also won gold in the pentathlon at this year's World Indoor Championships, is targeting the first world record of her career in Paris.
"I think that's a realistic goal," she said. "It was in reach in Doha this year so I hope if I've made improvements that I can get a bit closer, if not break it."
