England 6/1 to get off to winning start
It's been a long time coming - but now finally England will kick off their World Cup 2014 campaign against Italy on Saturday evening.
To mark the occasion, William Hill are offering enhanced odds to new customers of 6/1 for England to get off to a winning start in the heat of the jungle in Manaus.
England drew their opening games in both the 2002 and 2010 World Cups, but did taste victory against Paraguay in 2006 thanks to David Beckham's free-kick. A repeat of that against the side that knocked them out of Euro 2012 on penalties would do nicely for Roy Hodgson's men.
