June 25, 2014
Argentina have been far from their best at the World Cup, but Lionel Messi has single-handedly fired his country into the last 16.
His stunning 91st-minute winner against Iran sent Argentina through to the knockout stages with one game to spare in Group F, and at last the main man for Barcelona is turning on the style for his nation on the biggest stage.
Argentina finish their group campaign against Nigeria, and Messi is priced at 2/1 with William Hill to score the first goal in the clash on Wednesday to add to his two strikes in Brazil so far.
