Mario Balotelli looked like he had delivered the Champions League homecoming Liverpool fans had been dreaming of when he scored late on to put them 1-0 up against Ludogorets Razgrad.

After five years out of the competition, Liverpool looked all set for an Anfield win only for the visitors to equalise in added-time.
