After a summer in which they sold off a host of their best players and lost a talented young manager, Southampton looked likely to spend this season looking over their shoulders rather than up at Champions League football.

But heading into 2015, Ronald Koeman's men are keeping pace with the Premier League's big boys, and on Sunday they come up against one of the true heavyweights.

Manchester United are going through something of a lean spell, with two draws in their last two top flight games, but those games were both on the road. They return to Old Trafford this weekend with the hope of continuing the impressive form which has seen them win their last five home fixtures.

Southampton, however, look a decent punt to spoil the party at 7/2 with bet365 - the Saints have recorded one more win that United this season.

One United player worth taking a look at is Angel Di Maria. The winger made a goalscoring return to action against Yeovil last weekend. He's 5/2 to score at any time on Sunday.
