Fury apologises for outburst but continues abuse

Tyson Fury has continued his pre-fight taunts of Dereck Chisora, labelling the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion a "puppet" who "hasn't got the brains to talk for himself".
The build-up to the pair's domestic showdown at Wembley Arena on Saturday has centred on the verbal jousts exchanged between the fighters. Fury incensed Chisora last week by threatening to kill his opponent - a taunt which attracted much criticism and forced Chisora to hang up from their media call.
Both men are undefeated in the professional ranks and Fury, who did apologise for his outburst, is convinced he will beat Chisora and earn himself a world title shot.
"Chisora can't speak for himself, he's like a puppet - he needs a puppet master to do the talking for him because he hasn't got the brains to talk for himself," Fury said. "They pulled out of our press conference because of what I said last week and yet James DeGale gave George Groves a relentless amount of abuse leading up to their fight and Groves never missed a press conference.
"It all sounds a bit hypocritical to me. Of course I apologise for saying that I would kill him, no fighter wants that to happen and you know that I have a strong faith in God but it was just in the heat of the moment. [Muhammad] Ali said things to Joe Frazier he regretted and Mike Tyson said countless things, it happens when you have a real fight on your hands and I won't apologise for the beating I'm going to give him, we're in the hurt business - as Ricky Hatton said it's not a tickling contest.
"But you know I don't have a record of biting people or kissing them at the weigh-ins - the British Boxing Board of Control have not suspended me. So let's cut out the excuses - don't be a muppet Del Boy. Come out, come out wherever you are! It seems to me that the people around him know that Chisora was able to bully other opponents but he can't do that with me and they know that his reign as champion is coming to an end, they know that his world title chance is out the window on Saturday night."
