Khan 'definitely wants' Morales or Matthysse

Amir Khan's protracted search for a December opponent looks to be reaching a conclusion after he confirmed he "definitely wants" to fight either Erik Morales or Lucas Martin Matthysse.

Morales and Matthysse will fight for the WBC light-welterweight belt next month after the strap was ripped away from Timothy Bradley due to inactivity.

Unbeaten American Bradley has been Khan's first choice for a while now, but he has been unwilling to fight the Brit - even reportedly turning down a 50-50 cash split.

With Bradley out of the picture, Khan has been linked with Marcos Maidana, Robert Guerrero and Lamont Peterson, the mandatory challenger for his IBF title.

"I'll fight anyone, but I definitely want the winner of Morales and Matthysse. That would be another title in the bank," he said.
