Froch angered by training disruption

WBC super-middleweight champion Carl Froch has revealed fears that his media commitments will disrupt his performance against WBA king Andre Ward when the pair meet in the final of the Super Six Classic on October 29.
Froch and Ward have been forced to take a break from their training in order to attend press conferences in England and America, a requirement that Froch sees as an imposition before what promises to be the defining fight of his career.
"I'd rather be in the gym training. This has been a hindrance on my training programme," Froch told Sky Sports News. "But it's all part and parcel of big-time boxing and world-class sport, so I'm used to it. I've structured my training regime around the flights. It's not ideal, it's not great. Do I enjoy it? No. I don't dislike it, it's all part of the package, and it's got to be done."
Meanwhile, Froch has shrugged off the bookmakers' decision to install Ward, the unbeaten former Olympic champion, as the favourite. "People and critics are entitled to their opinions in boxing and nine times out of ten they're wrong," Froch said.
"The bookies have got it wrong a few times as well, but I don't mind that, I don't pay attention to any of it. I need to turn up in great shape, and then I'll do the business. Who the favourite is makes no difference to me at all."
