Pacquiao 'obviously' doesn't want fight - Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather Jnr claims that Manny Pacquiao will refuse his drug-testing demands because he has no interest in fighting him.

The last round of negotiations between the pair collapsed because Pacquiao refused to agree to Mayweather's request for Olympic-style sampling right up until the hours before the fight. Pacquiao claimed that having blood taken too close to entering the ring would sap too much of his strength, causing his performance to suffer.

But recently, the Pacquiao camp have given hints that the Filipino is willing to meet Mayweather's requirements, raising hopes that the much-anticipated super-fight, which will crown the planet's pound-for-pound king, could finally be on the cards. Pacquiao even went so far as to say: "I will fight Mayweather next year."

However, Mayweather doubts whether Pacquiao is truly willing to play ball. "You've got to ask yourself this. I don't have anything against Manny Pacquiao. But is it Manny Pacquiao or Bob Arum [Pacquiao's promoter]?" Mayweather said to mlive.com.

"It is what it is. I'm not here to say nothing negative about Bob Arum. I'm not here to say nothing negative about Manny Pacquiao. He do what he do, I do what I do. All I ask, as a gentleman, let us both take the test and let's fight. It's obvious [Pacquiao] don't want to do it."
