Pacquiao punches like a woman - Mayweather

Manny Pacquiao's technical flaws will prevent him conquering Floyd Mayweather Jnr if the two ever meet in the ring, according to Mayweather's father.

Celebrated trainer Floyd Mayweather Snr, who is credited for providing his son with a flawless defensive technique, has also outlined the areas he feels Pacquiao needs to improve upon.

"He's still not at the status where he can beat little Floyd because he doesn't have the agility," Mayweather Snr said. "It's not a guy like Pacquiao who can beat Floyd, he just comes in throwing punches like a woman. I would have him jabbing a lot more, and I would have him moving his head."

The will-they-won't-they drama between Mayweather and Pacquiao remains as complicated and contradictory as ever: Pacquiao's promoter recently guaranteed the bout will take place, but Mayweather claims that his Filipino rival has no interest in the fight.

As well as all the claim and counter-claim, there is an ongoing defamation lawsuit, which was launched by Pacquiao against Mayweather in the wake of their disagreement over the timing of blood testing.

Mayweather returns to the ring for the first time in 16 months against WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz later this month, while Pacquiao will complete a trilogy against Juan Manuel Marquez during November.
