Nathan Cleverly has set his sights on unifying the light-heavyweight division after making a successful second defence of his WBO belt against Tony Bellew.

Cleverly battled to a points win in Liverpool's Echo Arena and immediately targeted a bout against another belt holder.

Hours after Cleverly's win, the WBC belt changed hands as Chad Dawson claimed a controversial victory over veteran Bernard Hopkins, and Cleverly wants either Dawson or WBA champion Beibut Shumenov .

"I'm going to go back to the hotel and watch that fight very closely," Cleverly said of the Hopkins fight.

"That's not a foregone conclusion you know, Chad Dawson is a very fast guy on his day and he could cause an upset against Bernard Hopkins. I would possibly like the winner of that, if not Beibut Shumenov for the WBA title."
