- Wladimir Klitschko v Jean-Marc Mormeck
Klitschko fight still to go ahead despite hospital visit

Wladimir Klitschko's promoter has predicted his heavyweight collision with Jean-Marc Mormeck will go ahead despite the Ukrainian suffering abdominal pains.
Klitschko is scheduled to defend his IBF, WBA and WBO belts against Mormeck in Germany on December 10. However, the bout has been thrown into considerable doubt.
Abdominal pains forced Klitschko to go to hospital, and it was reported that he may be suffering from kidney stones.
The champion is still far from being 100 per cent, and there remains a strong chance the fight could be called off. However, promoter Bernd Boente delivered a more positive verdict in a recent interview.
"The fight isn't called off yet. Wladimir is doing well," Boente said. "There will be further examinations on Saturday, but we're assuming that the fight will be able to take place."
