WBO light-welterweight champion Tim Bradley is in line for a date with Manny Pacquiao in the near future - but he still wants to get it on with Amir Khan at some point.

Bradley is on a four-strong shortlist drawn up by Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, of potential May opponents should a bout with Floyd Mayweather Jnr fall through - as is very possible, with Mayweather about to embark on a 90-day stretch behind bars. The others proposed by Arum are Lamont Peterson, Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto.

Khan tried to agree a bout with Bradley last year - only to see his approaches rebuffed. Gary Shaw, Bradley's former promoter, says an offer of $1.4 million from Khan's camp was spurned.

The Brit went on to launch a series of verbal attacks on Bradley, claiming he did not have the stomach for the fight because he knew he would lose. But prior to Khan's clash against Peterson last month - in which Khan surrendered the WBA and IBF titles - Bradley seemed to be coming round to the idea of facing the former Olympic champion at some point.

The pair now seem to be on a collision course for late 2012, by which time both could be competing at welterweight in pursuit of the sport's richest bouts.

"I still want Khan - don't get it twisted," Bradley told boxingscene.com. "Like I said before, payback is a bitch. I still want to bust that dude up and hit him in the mouth. He talked s**t and he is definitely a guy who I want to leave cuts on his face."
