Promoter Frank Warren has secured the purse for George Groves' rematch with Kenny Anderson, and the bout will take place on March 16 at Wembley Arena.

Groves will put his British super-middleweight crown on the line against Anderson, the mandatory challenger for that title. The pair first met in November 2010 on the undercard of David Haye v Audley Harrison; Anderson accepted the fight at two weeks' notice, but managed to floor Groves in the third.

Groves, who looked worryingly easy to hit in the early stages of the contest, recovered his composure and eventually forced a sixth-round stoppage. However, Anderson said afterwards he felt he could have performed even better if he had given more time to prepare - and he has now been granted that wish.

"Anderson did well to get to the mandatory position and I'm more than happy to take him on again," Groves said. "I'm really going to relish it this time around and I'll do a much better job on him. Since I beat him I've faced a much higher calibre of opponent than he has and picked up much more experience. It will be far more one-sided this time, he's a strong man, but I won't let him get in the fight at all - it will be all one-way traffic."
