Brook to return to Sheffield in July

Kell Brook will fight again in Sheffield on July 7, following the success of his last bout in the city against Matthew Hatton.

Nearly 10,000 fans packed into the Motorpoint Arena to see the unbeaten welterweight defeat Hatton by unanimous decision, in a fight that also attracted sizeable television viewing figures.

On the back of that success Brook's promoter, Eddie Hearn, has decided to bring the fighter back to his home city once again - promising a high calibre opponent as the 25-year-old chases a world title shot.

"It was a fantastic night in Sheffield for Kell and for British boxing, and I had no hesitation in putting him on in the Arena again," said Hearn. "Kell delivered in a big way against Matthew and proved he is worth the hype.

"Now we will deliver another big night for him against a top name that we will announce soon."
