Dereck Chisora's trainer, Don Charles, has confirmed it is in the British heavyweight's plans to "punish" David Haye for what happened in their ugly press conference brawl back in February.

Chisora is currently inactive after he was banned by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) following a shameful weekend in Germany. Chisora was involved in scenes of slapping, spitting and brawling before and after his WBC title fight with Vitali Klitschko, eventually ending up in the hands of the police to explain his bout of fisticuffs with Haye.

He is currently appealing the suspension handed down to him by the BBBoC and, if successful, clamour will instantly grow for Chisora and Haye to settle their differences in the ring.

Boxing expert Steve Bunce recently wrote on ESPN his belief that a Chisora v Haye fight is coming, as well as stating his belief that Chisora would be successful in his appeal against the ban. Charles' latest insight into his pupil's agenda only heightens expectation that an all-British heavyweight battle is coming.

"We would like to have a rematch with the older Klitschko (Vitali)," Charles told BoxingScene.com. "But I think that the WBC will not allow this fight to happen, just like [it refused to sanction a fight between] Vitali and Haye.

"The number two goal is a fight with Wladimir. We were already scheduled to fight [Wladimir] twice, but twice [he withdrew] without any compensation or even an apology. Because of [Wladimir's withdrawals], Dereck lost fourteen months [in his career].

"The third option is the fight with Haye. We want to punish him for the press conference in Munich. [The press conference] proceeded normally up until the point where [Haye] appeared, without an invitation, and opened his mouth."
