WBA light-middleweight champion Miguel Cotto has warned Saturday opponent Floyd Mayweather Jnr to expect a relentless attack "no matter what".

Cotto has built up a reputation as a brave, aggressive fighter who is the sort to go out on his sword, and there are some who feel his heavy-pressure approach could unsettle Mayweather.

Mayweather also has to contend with the fact he is competing at 154lbs for only the second time, following on from a tight 2007 victory over Oscar De La Hoya.

And Cotto feels that those factors will come together and create the perfect storm for him to end Mayweather's long unbeaten record.

"I'm a quiet guy, and I prefer to talk in the ring," Cotto said. "No matter what, I am going to use what I have to fight Floyd. I'm prepared for his style. I am going to be the first guy to beat Mayweather."

ESPN will be providing Twitter updates from the Floyd Mayweather Jnr v Miguel Cotto fight, an extensive report shortly after the action ends, and the best of the early reaction from Las Vegas.
