Bradley happy to fight 'sloppy seconds' Khan

Timothy Bradley has dropped a hint that Amir Khan may well be his next fight, saying in a recent interview: "UK here I come".

Bradley recently defeated Manny Pacquiao via a controversial decision to become the new WBO welterweight champion. The result caused an outcry against the judges, later prompting a review from the WBO, which saw five international judges rule in favour of Pacquiao.

The review does not change the result, but it does add weight to calls for a rematch between the two fighters. Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum has already said he will look into a rematch, although a fourth bout with Juan Manuel Marquez is also on the cards.

Should Pacquiao lock horns with Marquez once again Bradley will look elsewhere for his next opponent, and he has already previously confessed he would consider Khan, if the Brit beats Danny Garcia.

Now Bradley has offered further comment on a potential Khan fight, and he has upped the stakes by dabbling in a little trash talk. Poking fun at Khan's December loss to Lamont Peterson, Bradley labelled the Brit: "sloppy seconds".

"I prefer fighting Pacman again or Floyd but if they are not available I would not have a problem getting Peterson's sloppy seconds!" Bradley told BoxingScene.com, before declaring: "UK here I come!"

Khan is currently scheduled to fight Garcia on July 14.
