Kell Brook is set to take on Devon Alexander on February 23, with the Sheffield fighter claiming he is going to show the world how special he is.

Brook was originally slated to fight Alexander on January 19, but he turned his ankle in training which prompted his camp to postpone the welterweight clash.

And it would appear all parties have reached an agreement, with the card set to take place in Detroit.

"Feb 23 I'm gonna show the World just how Special I am," Brook wrote on Twitter. "I'm gonna bring this World title home for Britain."

Golden Boy promotions chief executive Richard Schaefer said: "We'll have two world title fights, and it could turn out to be three.

"So if we bring three world title fights, including one with hometown champion 'K9' Bundrage, I think we will do darn well there. Detroit is a great fight town."
