Wilder delivers message to Fury

Following his demolition of Audley Harrison, unbeaten American Deontay Wilder called out Tyson Fury.

Wilder came into his fight with Harrison unbeaten in 27 fights, all of which came by knockout, and with a lofty reputation in tow. He did nothing to dampen talk that he could be a future heavyweight world champion by flooring Harrison inside 60 seconds.

The critics have suggested Wilder has not beaten anyone of note, but his wins have been impressive and he is looking to step up the ladder.

Wilder says 2013 is his year and he has world titles on his mind, but he is ready to step into the ring with unbeaten Brit, Fury.

And showing off his skills as a poet, Wilder said: "I will put it like this: I am the man with the right hand bomb. Tyson Fury, oh where can he be? He is the next man that I want to see. Sheffield, England, do you agree?"

Wilder has never been beyond four rounds, but he says he will not falter on account of fitness and wants to face fighters who can test him.

"I am always training for the long runs," he told BoxNation. "I am a beast and I train hard. I do not have days off. Experience will take you so far, but when you have a will and a desire it will get you where you want to go. I have a god-given talent.

"I took another step, I will have gained more fans here too. I am ready for whoever and this is my year, this is my time.

"I want to take on guys that can take me into deep water as I want to show the people that I have so much more."
