Luke Campbell withdraws from March bout

Olympic champion Luke Campbell has pulled out of his 10th professional contest at the Hull Ice Arena on March 7 due to the ill health of his father.

Third time lucky?

Campbell, who has won all nine contests in the paid ranks, was due to be back in action next month before moving on to an all-Hull showdown with lightweight Tommy Coyle in the summer.
But the 27-year-old, who took a break from the sport last year after his father was diagnosed with cancer, has decided to spend more time with his family.
"After a period in intensive care, my Dad has now been moved to Dove House Hospice and I feel it's important that I spend every second possible with my family," said Campbell.
"I hope that the fans understand my decision and I shall be back in action soon."
The card will still go ahead with Coyle facing Martin Gethin, while unbeaten trio Rocky Fielding, Bradley Saunders and Gamal Yafai are also in action.
