Current champion Dereck Chisora will fight Tyson Fury or risk being stripped of his British heavyweight title after the bout was put out for purse bids.

The British Boxing Board of Control have announced that mandatory challenger Fury will finally get his chance at Chisora, after the Englishman saw his scheduled fight with world champion Wladimir Klitschko in April fall through due to injury.

The Ukrainian has now agreed to fight David Haye in the summer.

Bids to host the fight must be received by midday on Wednesday, with the fight to take place no later than July. Fury is confident he will inflict defeat on the previously unbeaten Chisora.

"I'm going to strip the title away from him along with the zero on his record," said Fury. "I can't wait for this fight, it's been a long time in the making, but one thing is for sure, it's not going to take me as long to finish him off - expect another brutal knock out delivered from this 22-year-old."
