David Haye is aiming to inflict so much punishment on Wladimir Klitschko that his brother, Vitali, is forced to try and gain revenge.

WBA king Haye will try and rip the WBO and IBF straps from Wladimir this summer, before attempting to complete the clean sweep of heavyweight belts by overcoming WBC champion Vitali.

But although the Wladimir deal looks done and dusted, the route to Vitali is more complicated - one of the Klitschkos is contracted to fight Tomasz Adamek in Spetember, while Vitali has to negotiate a defence against Odlanier Solis on Saturday.

Haye is vowing to do all in his powers to ensure that he runs the gauntlet of both Klitschkos before retiring from the sport in October. "I know Vitali's going to be there ringside, in Wladimir's corner, so he's going to see first hand the destruction that I dish out on his little brother," Haye told the Daily Express.

"And it's going to be painful for him to sit back and watch me do it. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one who stops the fight, gets into the ring and drags his brother out.

"I wouldn't want the referee to stop it. I want him to take that ten count and be completely unconscious. Hopefully I'll do the job on Wladimir so his big brother, Vitali, gets all touchy and it hits a nerve. No-one likes their brother getting bashed up, especially with the beating I'm looking to inflict on Wladimir."
