David Haye is vowing to put Wladimir Klitschko on ice when the pair finally get the chance to settle their differences in Hamburg on July 2.

The two camps confirmed on Wednesday that a huge unification clash will take place at Hamburg's Imtech Arena. Haye's manager Adam Booth revealed his fighter had to bend to accommodate the wishes of Klitschko in order to get the deal signed, but the Bermondsey man feels it is a price worth taking to get a shot at IBF and WBO heavyweight title holder.

"I'm going into his backyard and it doesn't faze me one bit," Haye said. "I've done it before and I'm doing it again."

Haye will train with Klitschko in his sights and is determined to catch his opponent cold this summer.

"I'll be putting up a life-size poster of Wlad in my gym so that every time I hit a bag, do the pads or spar, it will be in my mind that I am already hurting him," Haye said.

"I've put up giant posters of opponents in my gym before all of my major bouts. It drives me on that little bit harder as I can think of my powerful punches smashing them up. Klitschko will be dreaming he's sleeping on an iceberg after I've knocked him out cold."
