Felipe Massa says his final race at Ferrari on Sunday will be an emotional experience as he aims to finish on a high.

Massa will start from ninth on the grid after a disappointing qualifying, but says it hasn't detracted from his weekend.

"It's a nice race to finish my Ferrari career," he said. "It's very special, so I hope I can do a good race. I'm looking forward but I will definitely be very emotional tomorrow.

"Last year I started fifth and I was second in the first corner. I did the wrong strategy and I almost lost a lap and I still finished on the podium. When it's like that you never know. Everything is possible."

Massa, a local in Sao Paulo, is expecting wet weather on Sunday.

"When it's like that you have no idea what will happen. We didn't drive in the dry yet, we just drove in the wet. I think the chance of rain tomorrow is big and maybe the race will be in the dry or the wet. The weather forecast is rain. The best is to have a good race, I have done so many races in the dry and wet so it's just about having the best race."
