Mark Webber is just one reprimand away from a ten-place grid penalty after receiving his second of the season in Montreal.

Webber and Valtteri Bottas both received reprimands for failing to slow sufficiently for waved yellow flags as marshals were on track attempting to clear Pastor Maldonado's Williams after he had hit the wall at Turn 3 in the latter stages of FP1 in Canada. The stewards decision read:

"The driver did not make a significant reduction in speed while double waved yellow flags were displayed in Turn 3.

"Notwithstanding the driver's obvious knowledge of the track situation and his control of the car, the Stewards found no evidence of a significant reduction in speed that is required under Article 2.4.5.1 (b) of Appendix H of the International Sporting Code."

The reprimand is Webber's second of the season after he also received one for making contact with Nico Rosberg during the Bahrain Grand Prix. If a driver receives three reprimands in a season he will receive an automatic ten-place grid penalty.
