Flower: KP contract not on agenda

England coach Andy Flower has insisted Kevin Pietersen's contract has not been a topic of conversation.

Pietersen is back in the England fold and set to play for his country for the first time since he was dropped in the summer after it emerged that he had exchanged "provocative" messages with members of the South Africa touring party.

A process of reintegration took place and Pietersen was selected for the tour of India, which came after he had been handed a four-month contract. With the batsman set to take on India A and insisting he is committed to England in all forms of the game, a longer contract may be in the pipeline. But it is not a subject that has been discussed, according to Flower.

"I haven't thought much about the extension of his contract," Flower said. "We are focusing on playing well in India.

"I don't envisage a problem. I think we can work very well together in the future and we've already started that process.

"We've had some great success and some great times over the last few years and I don't see a problem in the future."
