Boom snatches stage and yellow jersey from Cavendish

Lars Boom outsprinted Mark Cavendish to claim victory on a blustery third stage of the Tour of Britain.
Boom's win saw him seize control of the leader's yellow jersey from Stage One winner Cavendish, who had to settle for fifth in Stoke-on-Trent.
With Stage Two between Kendal and Blackpool a victim of strong winds on Monday, the riders battled the conditions with Team Sky engineering a breakaway.
But it was the Rabobank team who profited on the slight incline to the finish line, as Boom and team-mate Michael Matthews secured the one-two, with Sky's Geraint Thomas third and Steve Cummings fourth.
Wednesday's fourth stage will take place on the 114-mile route between Welshpool and Caerphilly in Wales.
