Bradley: There needs to be a November rematch

New WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley has conceded he "needs" to arrange a November rematch against Manny Pacquiao to draw a line under the weekend controversy.

Bradley was awarded Saturday's bout by the judges - two scored it 115-113 in his favour, the other to Pacquiao by the same score - in a verdict that prompted widespread incredulity.

While most concede that Bradley was the stronger in the final couple of rounds, the consensus is that Pacquiao dominated the mid-section of the contest and, as a result, did enough to be given the nod.

However, Pacquiao should know better than anyone how judges can disagree with the wider community, having been granted a highly debatable verdict against Juan Manuel Marquez last November.

A Bradley v Pacquiao rematch now looks inevitable, considering both fighters appear to want it, they share a promoter, and there was reportedly a clause to that effect inserted in the initial contract.

"We need to definitely do this again in November - and let's make it more decisive," Bradley said.
