Bolt: I'll be at Rio 2016

Usain Bolt has quashed retirement rumours by insisting he will compete at the Olympics in 2016 if his fitness holds up.

Since getting his hands on three sprint golds at London 2012, Bolt has suggested he would be keen on trying his hand at both football and Twenty20 cricket.

However, that will not cause him to switch his focus from athletics - although which event he will compete in remains a mystery, as he has expressed interest in both the 400 metres and long jump.

"I will be there as long as I'm fit," Bolt said. "It'll be a bit hard, but I'm looking forward to it."

Meanwhile, Bolt has called on Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand to help raise the profile of reggae music worldwide.

"If we do this together we could take it to a new level. Not since Bob Marley have we had a musician famous all over the world - and believe me, it's nothing to do with lack of talent," he said. "Our musicians are as good as our sprinters.

"It just needs people with global fame like me and Rio to move things."
