On a day that saw Chelsea, Southampton, Everton, Fulham and West Brom all win, we round-up the best Premier League moments...

Angel of doom
Everton defended well at Swansea in Saturday's early kick-off, but none of their back four can possibly claim to have made a more telling contribution to their clean sheet than Swansea's Angel Rangel. The score was precariously poised at 1-0 to the Merseysiders when Rangel took up a cracking position at the back post in the Everton area, striding on to the easiest of volleys from five yards out. Don't ever claim Swansea defenders can't defend though, as Rangel cleverly feigned to shoot before spinning his volley in the complete opposite direction to the goal. "Good stuff Angel" came Moyes' cry from the bench.

An Oscar for...well... Oscar
This one barely needs an explanation. A fella called Oscar dabbles in the art form called acting by taking a dive, and the Chelsea man gets booked for his troubles. Who writes these scripts?

Ten men... we've only got ten men
After Chelsea's 2-2 draw against Juventus in midweek, Ruud Gullit said of Fernando Torres that it feels like the Blues are "playing with 10 men". Typically, Gullit's comments drew a response from Roberto Di Matteo, who said Chelsea "have no issue" with the Spain forward. So imagine who was smiling and who was sinking into his seat when Torres powered onto an early chance at Stamford Bridge, only to offer a complete air shot in front of goal.

Fantasy Fortunes
Time for a quick Family Fortunes poll:
Question: If you're facing Stoke, what is the one thing you need to defend against more than any other?
Answer: Set-pieces.
"And the survey says"... Ding! (Cue gasps of disbelief as the latest Phillips Dishwasher is handed out as a prize)
The point of all of this? If we all know that Stoke are dangerous at set-plays, shouldn't Roberto Di Matteo? He left John Terry on the bench on Saturday and was lucky not to be immediately punished as Jon Walters hit the woodwork with the score at 0-0. Peter Crouch also should have netted from a second-half Charlie Adam corner.
Question: Is Di Matteo more qualified than us to make such decisions?
Answer: The 1-0 victory suggests we should keep quiet...

Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Here's a quirky one: After a cumulative 315 minutes of Premier League football on Saturday, not one home team had found the net. The five 3pm kick-offs all saw the home teams fail to register before the break, while the lunchtime kick-off ended 3-0 to visitors Everton at Swansea. In the end though - thanks to Southampton - more goals were scored by the home teams (8) than the away sides (7).

Humble pie on the menu
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson predicted before the start of the season that Rickie Lambert would not score more than five league goals for Southampton over the 38-game campaign. Well, Lambert already has four, and there was something beautifully predictable about the fact he netted a brace against Merson's old club Aston Villa on Saturday.

Hu the hell are you?
Hugo Rodallega scored a grand tally of two goals for Wigan last season (two more than Stewart Downing got for Liverpool you might point out), so imagine Wigan's utter annoyance at the fact he returned to the DW Stadium to net for Fulham in Saturday's 2-1 win. Maybe it's because he now has Dimitar Berbatov supplying him rather than Franco Di Santo...
