The UFC has confirmed Michael Bisping will fight Vitor Belfort as the headline event for the January 19 card in Brazil.

The name of the event, the venue and city is yet to be announced, but the UFC made official on Saturday a highly intriguing middleweight bout.

Bisping is determined to book a title shot against Anderson Silva, and he can fight few bigger names than Belfort, who is coming off a defeat to light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

In the co-main event, CB Dollaway meets the hugely talented Daniel Sarafian, who reached the finals of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil but could not fight in the final due to injury.

Fight card:
Vitor Belfort v Michael Bisping
CB Dollaway v Daniel Sarafian
Gabriel Gonzaga v Ben Rothwell
Khabib Nurmagomedov v Thiago Tavares
Godofredo Castro v Milton Vieira
Andrew Craig v Ronny Markes
Nik Lentz v Diego Nunes
Edson Barboza v Justin Salas
Michael Kuiper v Thiago Perpetuo
Yuri Alcantara v George Roop
Roger Hollett v Wagner Prado
Francisco Trinaldo v CJ Keith
