Redknapp rubbishes Young talks

Harry Redknapp has played down rumours that Ashley Young is headed to Tottenham.
The Aston Villa winger had been linked with a move to White Hart Lane, but Redknapp insists no approach has been made for the England international.
"We got linked with Ashley Young last week, but there's no truth in that," he said. "He's a good player, and if he's available then we'd be interested. But at the moment he's not on the market and Aston Villa want to keep him."
Tottenham are one of a number of clubs interested in acquiring the services of out-of-favour Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy, who has been told he is surplus to requirements at Eastlands. According to Redknapp, a potential move remains in Manchester City's hands.
"If they don't want to let him go, to Tottenham or anyone else, then that's up to them," Redknapp said. "It's their decision, he belongs to them they can do what they want.
"There's nothing happened as far as I know, the chairman's the one who has been dealing with the transfers, I only give him the targets I want. If he can do it, great, if he can't, I'll either find somebody else or forget all about it."
