Leicester Tigers' Heineken Cup quarter-final clash with Bath has been switched to the Walkers Stadium.

Leicester chairman Peter Tom confirmed yesterday that the clash, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, will take place at the home of local neighbours Leicester City Football Club where the Tigers beat Llanelli Scarlets in the 2006-07 semi-finals.

"We had a great win at the Walkers a year or so ago and everyone is really comfortable about going back there," Tom told the Leicester Mercury. He also praised City chairman Milan Mandaric for accommodating the clash at the 32,500 capacity stadium. "Milan has been very helpful in terms of letting us go down there and play these games."

Cardiff Blues have also moved their quarter-final clash with Toulouse to the Millennium Stadium with the winners of that clash set to face Leicester or Bath in the last four.

Tigers will also be at the Walkers Stadium on April 25 for their last Guinness Premiership match of the season against Bristol to allow for the re-development of the Tigers' normal Welford Road home.

"If we find ourselves in the same situation next year, then we will be able to play the game at Welford Road."
