The Shanghai International Circuit will feature two DRS zones at this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix with the addition of a new zone on the pit straight as well as one on the long back straight.

In previous years the circuit has featured just one zone along the kilometre-long straight between turns 13 and 14, but this year the FIA is keen to have two zones at most circuits. Both zones in Shanghai will have individual detection points, with the first one located midway through turn 12 and the second one just ahead of the final corner.

The first zone is the longer of the two at 752 metres and will likely see more overtaking ahead of the heavy braking zone for the hairpin at turn 14.
