Sir Richard Branson has finally honoured a bet made with Caterham boss Tony Fernandes by dressing up as an air stewardess on an AirAsia flight.

Branson made the bet with Fernandes at the launch of Virgin Racing - now Marussia - agreeing that whoever's team finished the 2010 F1 season lower in the constructors' standings would serve as a stewardess on the other's airline. Branson lost as Lotus - now Caterham - finished 10th and Virgin 12th, but the trip was postponed in early 2011 after he injured himself while skiing.

Donning a bright red uniform on Sunday, however, Branson served passengers on a charity flight from Perth to Kuala Lumpur, 'accidentally' spilling a tray of drinks on on his host's lap. The owner of Virgin airlines shaved his legs especially for the occasion, but left his trademark beard in place.
