Horner non-committal on Webber future

Christian Horner remains non-committal on whether Red Bull would want to retain Mark Webber beyond the end of this season.

Webber's future with the team has been called in to question following the team orders row in Malaysia when Sebastian Vettel snatched victory from his team-mate. Speaking to Sky Sports News Horner said he wasn't entertaining thoughts of his driver line-up beyond this year and - having admitted the team will have "no shortage of choice" - said Webber would only be considered if he wants to remain and is in form.

"We're only five races in; we're only a quarter of the season through the championship," Horner said. "Our decisions regarding drivers will be made in the summer and Mark - if he's delivering and motivated and has the desire to continue - of course will be a driver that we know and has achieved so much with us that we'll consider very closely. But no decisions will be made about drivers until later in the summer."

Pushed on whether the upcoming races were an opportunity for Webber to stake his claim for the seat or carried pressure to retain it, Horner replied: "It's probably both.

"At the end of the day there is pressure to perform but that exists for all the drivers. Monaco is a circuit that Mark in particular enjoys and has excelled at and hopefully he can have a very strong run there."
