Kimi Raikkonen is no longer in the running for the vacant seat at Red Bull, according to his manager Steve Robertson.

With Mark Webber retiring from Formula One at the end of the season, Raikkonen and Toro Rosso driver Daniel Ricciardo were named as the two main candidates to replace Webber in 2014. However, it appears that Raikkonen will not be Sebastian Vettel's team-mate next season after Robertson said talks had broken down.

"The negotiations with Red Bull were not successful and ended some time ago," Robertson is quoted by Turun Sanomat.

That leaves Ricciardo as the heavy favourite to replace Webber, with a report in Germany saying an announcement is due this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix.
