$1m to 'be Bernie for a year'
If you have ever wanted to live like Bernie Ecclestone for a year, you can now do so for $1million.
The makers of the official Formula One Opus have created 'The Bernie Edition'; a one-off edition of the book which carries a guide price of $1m (£610,000). As well as the book, the winning bidder will receive four passes for every race weekend of the 2014 season and 'your own private table within The Paddock Club'.
As well as that, the owner of the book will be invited to have "a cup of tea and an informal meeting" with Ecclestone in his private motorhome at each race, while there will also be a private dinner with Ecclestone at one grand prix venue.
Other benefits of 'The Bernie Edition' include paddock access and exclusive invites to events such as the FIA Ball, while the book itself carries a pure silver plate on the cover and will be hand signed by Ecclestone and every living drivers' champion.
Bidding on the book is open until 24 December 2013.
