Robert Kubica has insisted he is happy at Renault despite growing speculation that he could be in line for a move to Ferrari to replace Felipe Massa.

Renault has a multiple-year contract with Kubica, who after switching from BMW-Sauber has outdriven his car at the early rounds of the season. Italian sources have indicated that a move to Ferrari for 2011 is not out of the question for him but Kubica insists he has had no contact with the team.

"There were rumours about Ferrari last year, and now there are rumours again this year," said Kubica. "So far, the rumours have only been rumours. I'll keep working, and for now I'm concentrating on every single race and trying to do the best job possible for the team which I'm racing for. I don't think for any second or any minute about next year or my future."

Kubica admits he was glad to leave BMW but says he is happy at any team that can provide him with race-winning machinery.

"I want to be champion, no matter what car I drive," Kubica said. "When I was the championship leader in 2008, they helped Heidfeld to make up his gap rather than concentrate on me. It was amateurish. I knew I had to leave as soon as I could.

He added that he feels much more comfortable at Renault.

"I think the atmosphere around you, and the trust that you have with the people you're working with, is very important," Kubica said. "Today I feel the team's confidence in me and I feel like I have more energy than in previous seasons. I feel better, even though it is not the car of my dreams," said Kubica, referring to R30.

Although he admitted good results in Melbourne and Malaysia, including a podium, were helped by "luck".

"Both times the starts were decisive and offset our problems of qualifying," he said. "But we can't always rely on this from our opponents. Before trying to crack the top four teams, we have to be wary of Force India, especially in qualifying."

Meanwhile, Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo was not willing to discuss the possibility of dropping Massa for Kubica at the launch of new Ferrari 599 GTO road car.

"Let's not start with talking about contracts," he said. "This world championship has just started. I am very happy with Felipe, from his total recovery from the incident of last year to now leading the championship. And I am very happy with Alonso, on the track, off the track, with his determination, optimism and high concentration. I am very, very happy with both of them, and I hope to see on Sunday a Ferrari that is highly competitive, although there will be a close fight."
