It will be mandatory for F1 teams to hand over two of their four days of in-season testing to young drivers in 2015.

In-season testing has been restricted from four two-day tests in 2014 to two two-day tests this year. The tests will take place after the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya and after the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring.

Each team must allocate at least two days of running to young drivers in an attempt to help F1 hopefuls boost their mileage.

Pre-season testing kicks off on February 1 at Jerez for four days before two four-day tests at Barcelona towards the end of the month. The first race will take place on March 15 in Australia.
