Pastor Maldonado will have to wait until Monza to try to clinch the GP2 title after Mexico's Sergio Perez won Sunday's race at Spa.
Perez finished seventh on Saturday after serving a drive-through penalty for pitlane speeding but he made up for it by taking victory in today's reverse-grid race from Addax team-mate Giedo van der Garde and Alvaro Parente.
Starting second on the grid, Perez passed Rodolfo Gonzalez at Les Combes and never looked back. Maldonado did not have such a good time of things at Les Combes, the Venezuelan retiring on the opening lap. It means so Perez still holds a slim mathematical chance of winning the title.
Britain's Oliver Turvey finished fifth with Sam Bird suffering further disappointment in 12th.
