Valtteri Bottas says he is yet to speak to any other teams as he waits for a decision from Williams about his future.

Williams has committed to giving Bottas 15 Friday practice drives this season, and he has impressed during the majority to leave him as a strong candidate for a race seat in 2013. However, with Pastor Maldonado bringing huge sponsorship from PDVSA and Bruno Senna just eight points behind his race-winning team-mate in the standings, no decision has yet been made about Williams' driver line-up for next season.

While there are still unconfirmed seats at Sauber and Force India as well as Caterham, Marussia and HRT, Bottas says he hasn't been considering his options elsewhere.

"Not at the moment, no," Bottas told ESPNF1 in an exclusive interview when asked if he had spoken with any other teams. "Because really the ideal would be to stay with Williams and we are still waiting for news about next year from the team, so I hope we don't have to discuss it with any other teams.

"I really want to get racing, that's for sure. This year has been quite tough already just watching on whilst they race on Sundays on a race weekend, so definitely need to get racing."

When asked what he could bring to the team that Maldonado and Senna don't already, Bottas said he believes he can still improve significantly with race experience.

"I think I can bring some young speed, I can bring some good speed and I think if I can get to drive more and get some experience I think I can still develop a lot and I think I can do a really good job."
