You can't write off Alonso - Hill

Former world champion Damon Hill does not think it will be easy for Sebastian Vettel to win a third drivers' title in Brazil despite the 13 point advantage he holds over title rival Fernando Alonso.

Hill, who won his world title in 1996 when the title also went to the deciding race, thinks that the mental toughness and supreme racecraft of two-time champion Alonso could cause Vettel plenty of problems at Interlagos.

"If he had any other opponent, I would say that Sebastian would definitely win with his 13 points advantage," Hill told the German newspaper Die Welt . "But you can't write off someone like Fernando Alonso. He is such a clever and tough driver and he always seems to pull off something extraordinary."

And with rain forecast in Brazil at some stage over the race weekend, anything could happen. Alonso is a renowned master of the wet and he won an enthralling rain affected race in Malaysia earlier on the season after starting a lowly ninth on the grid.

"Anything is possible in Brazil," added Hill. "If I had to put a percentage on it, I would say the odds at 65 per cent in favour of Vettel. If Vettel wins in Brazil, then you can certainly imagine him winning two more championships -- at least."
